The hands on evaluation of each school location and our student's families in the wake of Hurricane Matthew is under way. Through this in-person evaluation we are deciding how to most efficiently allocate the disaster relief funds that have been donated. Food and repairs are the top priority. Our Field and School Directors have identified 155 families from our 5 schools with greatest need. We will be sending money for purchasing food for these. We are also assessing cost to repair damage. A Board member will be traveling to Haiti in the next few days for onsite look & to encourage the people. Thank all of you who have given to this effort. Our Field Director will be going by motorcycle to each school location to assess damage & determine immediate need. He will have full report for us by Wednesday. We do know that our locations all have water because they have rainwater cisterns. There has been no loss of life among our children or their families. We are praising our God for this news! ...
